In extensive coverage, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) highlighted the opening of the 12th edition of the Education Interface Exhibition 2026, hosted at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi under the patronage of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

WAM reported that the opening ceremony drew a high-profile audience, including His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Secretary-General of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, alongside university leaders, decision-makers, educators, students, and parents. This year’s edition is held under the strategic theme “Education and the Family,” aligning with the UAE’s declaration of 2026 as the “Year of the Family” and reinforcing the indispensable role of parents in guiding their children toward informed academic and professional paths.
The agency noted that the exhibition convened approximately 580 leading universities and academic institutions from the UAE and around the world, creating a direct, interactive hub that connects the entire education ecosystem. The platform enables prospective students to explore thousands of degree programs, scholarship opportunities, admissions requirements, and emerging career tracks tailored to the rapid evolution of the global knowledge economy.

In statements carried by WAM, Her Excellency Dr. Mouza Saeed Al Badi, Chairperson of the Higher Committee of the Education Interface Exhibition, affirmed that across 12 consecutive years, the event has cemented its position as a vital bridge connecting students with higher education and labor market opportunities. Dr. Al Badi highlighted that the current edition showcases 22 innovative student-led projects developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and premier national universities, offering applied solutions driven by advanced technology and Artificial Intelligence. She emphasized that authentic investment in youth begins by equipping them to navigate digital transformation and make confident, future-ready career decisions.

The coverage also spotlighted the strategic presence of the Ministry of Interior. Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Abdulaziz Salem Al Jneibi, Director of the Scholarships Department, reiterated the ministry’s commitment to attracting national talent and introducing youth and families to specialized academic and operational pathways across modern security and policing disciplines, particularly those centered on AI and frontier technologies. Running in parallel, the Khalifa Empowerment Program (Aqdar) engaged attendees through an interactive pavilion featuring competitions and awareness-raising activities designed to strengthen essential life skills and patriotic values among emerging generations.
WAM concluded its coverage by noting that the exhibition’s interactive panels and technical workshops explored international best practices in entrepreneurship, in-demand technical competencies, and cross-sector partnerships uniting academia, industry, and the community—reaffirming the lasting mission of Education Interface in cultivating world-class Emirati human capital.
