More than 545 local, regional, and international institutions, universities, and organizations will participate in this annual event, which this year is held under the slogan “Education and Society.” This aligns with the directions and vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him. The event is set to take place on April 17th and 18th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Ongoing support from the leadership and both the public and private sectors
In her interview with Al Ittihad, Al Badi stated that the journey of the “Education Interface” platform continues to achieve its vision and mission with the support and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. The platform contributes to supporting the education journey, which is the cornerstone of building a sustainable society. Its role is not limited to transferring knowledge; it extends to being a force for development and modernization. This allows generations to contribute to sustainable development through strengthening the relationship between education and community work, enabling skills and knowledge to serve societal issues, support sustainable development, and enhance social responsibility.

Pioneering initiatives from national institutions to support Emirati youth
Dr. Moza Al Badi revealed that there are pioneering initiatives offered by national institutions sponsoring the event from both the public and private sectors. These initiatives are related to supporting and nurturing Emirati students and youth in education and creating job opportunities for them. The details of these initiatives will be announced at the exhibition. She pointed out that the participation of the private sector and the sponsoring government entities in highlighting the demand for specialized fields contributes to empowering students with knowledge and practical skills, which in turn helps create an aware generation capable of facing challenges, innovating solutions, and contributing to building a more sustainable and prosperous future.
Education and Society: A Slogan Aligned with the Vision of the Wise Leadership
She confirmed that the choice of the slogan “Education and Society” came in alignment with the directions of the wise leadership, based on the vision of the “Year of Society,” and in accordance with the goals, vision, and mission of the Education Interface platform. The platform focuses on empowering community members, including students, youth, and parents, to strengthen and link educational pathways with community values and civilizational development, as well as promoting social values in volunteering, capacity building, and skill development.
She added that the goals are diverse and include enhancing community values through education, supporting curricula and programs that focus on social responsibility, voluntary work, and national identity to instill values of belonging and active citizenship. Additionally, it involves engaging parents and the community in the educational process by empowering families to contribute to shaping the educational future of their children, through workshops and community dialogues that discuss educational challenges and opportunities.
Enhancing Partnerships and Supporting Future Skills
Al Badi pointed out that one of the goals of the “Education Interface” platform since its inception goes beyond the annual exhibition. It aims to enhance the partnership between education and society by developing initiatives that connect students with universities and community and non-profit sector institutions to support skill-based education.
The platform seeks to build a comprehensive and advanced educational system by providing innovative educational pathways that align with the future labor market needs, focusing on emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and disciplines with high societal relevance. This is in addition to empowering youth through education and career guidance, by offering training programs and mentoring opportunities, in collaboration with third-sector institutions, to strengthen youth entry into the labor market and encourage them to engage in entrepreneurship and community initiatives.
